Dublin Summer Fun Series Brings Community Events to Riverside Crossing Park

(Dublin, Ohio) — The City of Dublin is gearing up for the newest addition to an already stellar lineup of community events, the Dublin Summer Fun Series! Events will be hosted at Riverside Crossing Park, located on the east plaza of the Dublin Link. Community members are invited to enjoy movies, fitness, games and activities for all ages through July and August. Adults 21 and up can enjoy DORA refreshments from participating Downtown Dublin restaurants and bring them to the east and west plazas during the events. The first event kicks off Saturday, July 6, with showings of Finding Nemo at 5 p.m. and Barbie at 7 p.m. in the park! 

Workout Wednesdays 

Ready, sweat, go! Local instructors will run free fitness classes every Wednesday at 6 p.m. The class type varies by the week, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy and many opportunities for attendees to try something new! The schedule is as follows:  

July 10 – Zumba/Dance Jam 

July 17 – Strength/Cardio Circuit 

July 24 – Yoga 

July 31 – Dance Fitness 

Instructors from Life Time Fitness in Dublin will lead our August and September events. Please be sure to bring your own yoga mat!

Cinema Saturdays  

Gather your blankets, snacks, and other goodies to join us on the lawn for the ultimate cinematic experience! Movies will be shown in the park every Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. The earlier movies are picked for families with young children, and the films after are picked for 13 and up. The schedule is as follows:

Games on the Green 

Checkmate! Yard-sized board games and lawn games will be set up on the East Plaza from 4-8 p.m. on the following dates:

Throughout the series, various activities will be provided to guests as Dublin activates the lawn of Riverside Crossing Park and cultivates a sense of hospitality within the community.
